Vegan Thai Food

ThaiHouse

  • Vegan menu options:
  • Must Order: Spring rolls, panning curry (no fish sauce)

This is properly my favorite Thai restaurant in Omaha. Located between a Qdoba and HuHot I always make a beeline straight to this restaurant. The owner gets the ingredients straight from the Asian market featured in this post. Everything is authentic and wholesome. It’s quaint but its cozy and also does great take out. However, be careful with spice. They have a 1-10 range. The highest heat at most other Thai places is like an 8 here.

Laos Thai Restaurant

  • Vegan menu options
  • Must Order: Spring rolls-sub tofu, Red curry-sub tofu (no surprise there)

This adorable little dive is right off 24th street which is the center for latin restaurants in Omaha. Their menu is diverse and distinctive to Thai cuisine. Me being the Curry Queen I opt for the Red Curry and substitute tofu. But if you prefer other items you’re sure to find lovely options for all kinds of Thai cravings.

Mai Thai

  • Vegan menu options
  • Must Order: Fresh vegetable spring rolls, edamame, vegetable curry

This Thai option features two locations with vibrant drink menus. This is more of a night life option to Thai food with great curry offerings and multiple vegetarian/vegan appetizers.
